Customer Review: Useless in most respects

Bought this exact item for less money through a (okay, THE) popular auction site, but even at that greatly reduced price I paid too much. As a warmer it is utterly useless; the only way it could possibly keep my tea warm is if I dumped the tea directly onto it, which I suspect would shorten its life not to mention making quite a mess on my desk. As a USB hub, you can get better-quality hubs that take up less space for a lot less money. Yet another of my poor impulse purchasing decisions.
One of the tags for this item is "gift idea," which is appropriate only if you're looking for a gag/white elephant gift or buying it for someone you truly despise. "Decorations" is a much more accurate tag, since it's much more decorative than functional.
