Our 5 year old wanted this robot ever since he saw the commercial for it. We had reservations thinking it would be a short lived attention span product as many RC products are in this house. But all of our 4 boys seem to really like it. It is actually funny to hear the comments that come out of the robot! We haven't had the need to change the batteries yet, but I do think it is crazy how many batteries are needed. 8 Double A's for the robot and AAA's for the remote really does seem like ALOT of batteries. We'll soon see what the duration is for the first round of batteries are!!Customer Review: Red Tribot

This was the toy my 5 year old son begged for at Christmas. His grandparents did get it for him and he was ecstatic. He especially likes to use the robot in 'guard' mode. He loves to scare us and the poor dog. I'm sure the more he uses it, the more he will get used to all the amazing features this toy has. Not only did he love it, but all of the adults we had over were impressed as well. It's nice to see a well made toy. It's now 3 weeks past Christmas and we still have not had to change the batteries. For a child 5 years and up, I would definately recommed this amazing toy.Customer Review: fun little guy

My seven year old son requested a "personal robot" for Christmas, and this is what he got. He likes showing him to friends, having him guard his stuff, and getting him to find him around the house. It's a little chatty, in my opinion, but I'm only the mom. He really likes him. It was easy to figure out and it's really durable. It regularly falls down the (carpeted) stairs and then says, from upside down, "I'm seeing things from a new perspective!" This cracks up my son every time. My four year old boy wanted this toy so bad for Christmas and my husband and I were not willing to spend $100 on something that he would break in a couple of weeks. Our son is not very repectful of his toys. When I found this on Amazon and the price was right I bought it. I think I have as much fun with the sayings in this thing as my four year old. This is a great robot and very sturdy and well built. No problems to this date. My son gets upset because his father and I want to play with it and he doesn't get his turn.Customer Review: EXCELLENT TOY FOR KIDS!

Our son got this for Christmas 2 years ago. He is 8 now and it is still just as sturdy and played with as the first day he got it. Tribot walks around checking things out in the house talking and spinning around almost daily as the kids squeal and treat him as a family friend. We got ours for about $90 which I thought was a good deal. Now I am seeing it for much less. If you're looking for a toy that will be around for a long time and will stand out above the rest lying in the toybox, pick Tribot. :) Great toy!!
