Found all sorts of shuttles that did not have the external tank nor booster rockets.
They were specific criteria my child asked for, so when I found this one on Amazon, I was surprised.
Comes with a couple of astronauts, and the tanks are detachable. Sits on a realistic launch pad/crawler.
Great toy, great value- made my kids birthday!!!!

This is perfect for my 5 year old who is extremely interested in everything to do with Space, Planets, and Rockets. He takes it everywhere. It blasts off at least 10 times a day. The only durability issue is with the three main engines, two of them have already broken off because they are so small. Overall though, I would buy it again because my son is such a Space fan.Customer Review: space rocket fun

We gave this space shuttle to our 3-year old for Christmas. He is into everything "space rocket". While the space shuttle does sit on the launch pad a bit flimsy, my son does not really care. He loves his "space rocket" and actually prefers playing with the booster rockets more than the actual space shuttle!! Overall, a great Christmas gift!Customer Review: Expected more quality

I expected more quality for the money I paid. The toy looks good. However, the plane falls off from the fuel tank too easily. One of the three wheels that the plane has broke in the first hour of playing and the wheels are hard to manipulate for little fingers, the two posts that hold the shuttle do not firmly attach to the base.Customer Review: Can be a little closer to reality

Overall, my two boys love it. But the launch pad does not resemble the real deal at all and the two booster rockets do not separate from the fuel tank. The latter makes playing the lift-off sequence less fun. Also, the color of the fuel tank is too bright compared to real life. Overall, a fun toy for small kids.
