Customer Review: Takes too long

I love Standard Scrabble but Super Scrabble has gone too far. The games last forever which is frustrating when you play in a large family gathering setting. The marathon games make it easier to come back from being behind but everyone I've played with is just bored at the end and wants to get the game over with. Plus the board is flat and when knocked the tiles jumble up. Extra frustrating when you have been playing for hours.Customer Review: For Hard-Core Scrabblers ONLY

This is such a cool game! My family was huge Scrabble fans, and when we found this game, that allows us to play longer, strive for more points per word (including QUADRUPLE WORD SCORE!), and have more letters (specifically two "z"'s to spell words like pizza)...we knew that it was for us!
The only bad thing about this game is that it becomes much more difficult to convince non-Scrabble afficionados to play... ;)

My boyfriend and I are Scrabble addicts! We play every night. Super Scrabble is so much fun. You have twice as many letters, spaces and scores. The board features 441 spaces vice 225 on the original. There is also the addition of quadruple word and letter spaces. We love it and now our friends as us to bring it over too. If you love Scrabble, you will love Super Scrabble. This is a great alternative for Scrabble lovers, but it does take about three hours to play. It's great to have more than one Q,Z, etc. to really challenge those who like this word game. We've been spoiled by the deluxe set which keeps the tiles in place and the swivel board; would recommend they come up with a way to include this as one bump could destroy hours of play!Customer Review: srabble lovers do not fear

I play scrabble at least 4 times a week, and super scrabble is my preferred scrabble outlet. It takes a long time to complete a game (almost 4 hours) but the word possibilities are nearly endless. There needsa to be a new super scrabble reference work like the regular scabble dictionary, and a travel version because games are often abandoned for food and then completed.
