Wow - what a game! Once you've played Super Scrabble, you won't want to go back to the deluxe version. The only problem is with the board - it is a folding board, not very stable. I think that a board similar to the Deluxe version (on turntable with grids to hold letters in place) will be the upcoming latest edition - too bad that you will probably have to purchase the entire game again to acquire a better board - but that's what profit is all about, I guess.....Customer Review: Good Game, but go for the DELUXE

I love Scrabble! This new version is wonderful! More tiles, More premium squares, Higher scores, More FUN! If you always wished there was more space to the left, right, on top or on bottom of that word you could capitalize on ...your wish has come true. I recommend getting the Deluxe version because having the board with the grid makes it easier to keep the tiles in place. Other than that, I say this newest version of Scrabble is the BEST. Super Scrabble
Having been taught to play Scrabble @ the age of five, I've been playing it ever since (more years than I want you to know!). If you love Scrabble, then Super Scrabble is superb: larger board, more letter tiles, quadruple letter & word squares & the ability to win with way higher scores than w/regular scabble. I LOVE it!

I have waited eons for a bigger scrabble game! Only thing I was disappointed about was that I thought it came with the grid to keep the tiles secure, as our pets insist on becoming part of the play.I may put tiny droplets of clear silicone as dots at corners of every square to keep tiles on spaces better, easy, cheap and won't be noticed. One of the best games has incredibly bettered itself, and anyone would find it well worth the price.Customer Review: Super Scrabble

We love the size of this board - it makes it a lot easier to play with kids who are fond of three and four letter words. However, to make it easier to play, some kind of ridge between the squares would have been helpful, since we ended up putting it on a lazy susan so everyone could see the board the right way during their turns. We might end up improvising something out of thin strips of contact paper so the tiles stay in place.
