I grew up with the Rubik's Twist and I still love it now. It was the best toy to play with and the original one I have is still in great shape. I purchased a new one for my children. This toy is very durable and holds up well even after years of use. These are a great learning tool for children and helps with creativity. I have two of these at home. At Christmas time, my sister and her family stayed with us. They have two very active boys who usually drive me nuts. This year I brought out my Rubik's snakes. They spent hours playing with these things. Made all the shapes in the book, and invented several new ones. This is a great toy for the hyperactive child. and it's a great something-to-do toy. It feels a bit cheap though, no real weight to it, plastic is thin, but it seems to hold together decently. If you want a challenge try a 5x5 rubik's cube instead. I bought one for nostalgia's sake and it fulfilled that perfectly. Great office cube toy. "I order the RUBIKS TWIST for my daughter and I recieve another item I am disappointed, I will not buy anything again from this seller, I am very disappointing is the first time I passed this on Amazon and I think it is not very difficult to inspect the product before you pack and send. i had amazon send this as a gift directly to my 10 year old nephew in another country, so i haven't seen him in action with it. in his note he wrote: "thankyou for the Rubix Twist because you can do anything with it." let me add here that i also sent him a rubic 4x4 and it broke immediately. most disappointing, as that was what he really wanted.
