There are a lot of hard knocks on this product. It is very shaky and doesn't stay aligned. The stickers were put on poorly(orange is terrible) and it is just too bulky of a cube for speed. it also kind of pops out (the center corners/edges) and slows you to pop them back in. based on the other reviews get the v cube 5x5x5. everthing this cube has that cube beats and it is only 5 or ten dollars more so get the v cube. it has served me as a 5x5x5 for a moment but i soon will undo my mistake by getting the v cube.Customer Review: very cool

I got my 5x5 rubik's cube recently and it is very fun. I am a previous solver of a 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4 and the 5x5 is giving me a great challenge. However, I have already solved it but it takes me awhile. I can solve my 2x2 in less than 25 seconds, my 3x3 in less than a minute, and my 4x4 in about 2 minutes. This cube is great for me and i think and rubik's freak should consider this product. WARNING: Pieces may break off easily. Be careful with this cube for the first week or two to prevent explosion.Customer Review: Simply cool...

Reading other reviews I noticed that people are not pleased with the durability of the Professor Cube. However, in the package it states that is NOT for speedcubing. Maybe is a little pricey, but that only makes me take more care of it. Durability if just fine.
The stickers are another story. After a few weeks of constant usage, they start to peel off their transparent cover and the colors begin to fade. Just make sure you are gentle with the cube and you'll enjoy plenty of hours of fun.

I was skeptical purchasing this cube for my son reading all the bad reviews. He's a "speed cuber" with the 3x3 and we warned him contanstly that this cube was not for speed cubing. He heeded our warning and we have had NO issues with the cube.
It is NOT fallen apart.
The stickers have NOT fallen off or come loose.
It's such a great toy - provides hours of entertainment, makes you think, doesn't need batteries, makes no noise, has no flashing lights, and is portable.

This was a gift for my boyfriend who loves Rubiks cubes and uses them a lot. Several people complained of the stickers falling off but ours were pretty good and didn't have that issue. One issue it did have was after quite a bit of FAST paced use the joints seemed to get a bit stiff and harder to use quickly. It did fall apart I believe but it was really heavy, fast use that caused it and it was easy to put together. I bought it about two years ago and it is still being used today.
