OK, my friends were dubious, despite my fond memories from childhood. "Collect all nine of one commodity? That's it?" We play fairly sophisticated games: Settlers of Catan, D&D, Magic: the Gathering, Scrabble, Cranium... how could this possibly hold our interest?We've almost worn out the cards in the first set I bought from such frequent and excited play and I'm online to order another.
Buy this game. Play this game. Try to _ignore_ this game. I promise you won't be disappointed.

I listened to my parents playing this game and am so happy to be able to play it as an adult myself! I know that my kids will love it too. It is a great way to release some energy and laugh a lot. We played this the other night with my brother and his family and the only thing that we found to critisize is that the cards are really hard to shuffle and deal. We added baby powder with cornstarch, which helped a bit, but really only made the cards smell better :-) Buy this game, no matter what!Customer Review: Too much fun can get you in trouble...

This game has been in my family for years. I am now married and ready to introduce the game to my in-laws. My best memory of this game is playing the game on the family room floor around the coffee table and my Mother jumping on top of the coffee table screaming "corner on the market"- she had won the game. A few minutes later the police were knocking on our front door because we were disturbing the peace. It is truly a game that the whole family can enjoy- of all ages. I had this game when I was a kid in the 70's and still have the original cards but lost the orange bell. I didn't appreciate this game until I was older, married and stationed in Germany. I brought this game out for us to play with a set of friends and talk about a screaming match! We laughed so hard during each game we could barely get through it! I am so glad they brought this game out of hiding as I plan to buy another one. It's a great game for parties. Definately a 5 star game!
