This is a game of rise and fast action. My fifth grade teacher had about five sets of the pit game. We would get into groups and play against the whole class. I would like to recomened this game because it develops critical thinking and stelth. You can look at other peoples cards but it's not likly that they will let you. It's a great game for any card shark and especially good for partys. Adults shouldn't shun this game because children play it but try their hands at a round. I do believe that they will be hooked. A word to the wise, if you hold cards so that others can't win you will lose.Customer Review: A classic in our family - we love it!

My brothers and sister and I have been playing this game for over 30 years now and we still love it! It's an easy game to learn (we've played it with a 5 year old - no problem) and it's fun quotient is off the charts! When I first got married, I tried describing it to my husband who had never played it. "It's so much fun, you'll scream yourself hoarse." Since my family is otherwise quite reserved, he found that hard to believe. But within a few minutes he was yelling "two...two..two...ok, three...three" with the best of us. We couldn't have family reunion with out it!

I was very pleased at how quickly this game was delivered! It also was in perfect condition when it arrived. The advertisement for it was correct and we are pleased to have this convience at our fingertips. I could not find this game anywhere in the stores near me and was excited to know that it could be found here. I worried that it might not get here in time, but that just was not the case at all. The cost was reasonable and their other selections were varied from what I could get in the stores near me. I would use this game net again.Customer Review: Great Family Game

As a child, I played this game on family vacations. The rules are simple, yet engaging. Adults and kids alike play on pretty equal ground. Kids like the high-energy pace, and adults are amused by the idea of "cornering the market." Maybe I say that because my father is a stock broker so it is great hearing his over the top analysis after each game. I can't really think of anything negative to say, except maybe that your children might grow up, like me, with an inflated sense of the value of wheat (the most valuable commodity in the game).Customer Review: Loads of fun for all ages

We were introduced to this game a few years ago by some friends and we've never quit playing it since. It's a LOUD game, easy-to-play, and suitable for large groups of mixed ages. We have played it with foreign students with great success (nothing to read or write or figure), and we usually end up buying the game to send home with them. This is not meant to be an educational game, but a crazy-fun game for all ages.
This most recent purchase went home with a German student who had a blast playing it at our home.
