This is one the better games that I have bought recently. The concept seems simple, but it does get harrowing when the timer is winding down and you realize you only have three clues left to get two words on the card. The game tends to work better with a higher number of people, as more are able to guess at the clues. Beware- This game can lead to arguments between couples when one member can't understand how the other can misinterpret the "perfect" clue. All in all, it is a good game, fun and thought provoking, and a great way to spend an evening. In my opinion, it was definitely worth the money.Customer Review: Slow, Restricted, and Creative

This word game came out to be hampered by the word restriction when I played. Two players bid down from 25 on how many words it'll take them to get their team to say five specific words. Success gains the card and failure forfeits it to the other team. It was tough to get people to say any words even without the time restriction. Someone would always win the bid at some ludicrous number like 5 just to take the bet, and then not get one word correct. The fact that the number of words is restricted prevented it from being a blurting game like Outburst or Taboo. I would recommend this game for large parties only.Customer Review: We just call it "Words"...

There is no equal to this game. Taboo, Outburst, Scattergories, Password - all good, but this is great. Minimum 6 people for maximum fun. Pick a creative, smart crowd though. If the word is "Pan" then "Tinkerbell" does the job faster than "Pot". The review below that said they couldn't get 1 word with 5 is very sad. We always start the bidding at 7 words and I've even seen 4 clues for 5 words once! There's no board so I throw the timer and the cards in my weekend bag everywhere we go in case of rain/snow. I recently purchased a used game from Beth's Stuff 4 Sale. The game arrived well before the scheduled arrival date and was in excellent condition. My Philly niece said the game was in better shape than my game!
I am new to purchasing "used" products on the internet. This experience was above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely check Beth's site first when I make my next purchase - a new "used" game for myself!

This is a great game for older kids and adults. It makes you think! It is similar to TABOO in that you have to guve clues to make your team guess the words, but it has a twist, you have to bid on how few words it will take you to give clues to get your team to guess all five words on the card! We had a lot of fun playing this over the holidays! Definitely a new games night favorite!
