If you're looking for a game for geniuses, artists or actors, try something else. If you want a fun party game to play with families and friends alike, consider 25 Words or Less.25 Words or Less is a wonderful party game for any age group ranging from kids to grandparents. The instructions are easy to understand, so you can start playing as soon as you open the box. Two teams face off trying to get their team to guess the secret words (ranging from boat to M*A*S*H) on a card using a limited number of clues. With time running out and only three clue words left, only the perfect clue will do.
An appealing part of this game is that it isn't based on trivia, luck, or even artistic skill. If you can give clues to your teammates and describe words quickly, then you can play this game. When I first played the game with relatives, I was amazed at the fact that everyone played even my seven-year-old cousin.
Another great feature about the game is the bidding for the cards. You can't simply use all 25 words. That would be too simple. You have to outbid the other team in order to even try giving the clues. I've played games where I had to give the clues to all five words on the card with only a total of nine words of clues. Trust me, it can get fairly difficult even for adults who think they know everything. Plus if you don't know all of the words, let your opponent take it and try their luck.
This game is for people of all ages. I have played this with my younger cousins and my friends at college. So far, everyone has enjoyed the game enough to ask for a re-match. Kids, college students and adults alike will enjoy this game if they like a fast-paced contest with their friends.
