Customer Review: Lots of fun - lots of energy

I was pretty sure I knew what this would be like when I got it because we already have Electronic Hyperslide, and I wasn't disappointed.
Basically, the way it works is, you place the disks around the room or even the house. When you start the game, the toy shouts out which one you need to touch. The kid runs to that disk and puts the gizmo on the disk and then it shouts out the next disk you need to touch, and so on. The whole thing is timed and when you're done it tells you how long you took. It's fun and it keeps the kids running like crazy.
There are several variations of games and you can have multiple players and/or multiple teams, and it remembers the times for each team and tells you who won. Incredibly simple, but really fun.
If you don't like kids running in your house or don't like a lot of noise, don't get this, because the whole idea is to run and do it quickly and everyone is laughing.
The product only has two cons I can think of. First is it's not loud enough. When the game gets going and everyone is shouting and laughing, the noise can drown out the game telling you what to do. We have learned to hold it near our ear right after we tag the disk so we hear the next command. The other thing is that you have to tag the disk fairly carefully or it won't register. Neither of these are a big problem, just little nits. I highly recommend this if you've got kids who need to burn off some energy.
Also, the Amazon hassle free packaging rules. I wish everything came like this. Just a reclosable cardboard box. Nice work.
