Customer Review: Possibly the most fun game for friends and family I have ever come across!

When looking for another game to bring over to our friends' home, one that we knew we liked, I came across Quelf. The other game wasn't in stock so I picked this game up because it looked a like a good alternative selection for our group of teens and adults getting together. It was confirmed repeatedly by everyone that the game was a great choice.
The first game included having one adult having to sit with straight arms and legs throughout the game if it wasn't his turn. He then had a homemade snorkel attachment to wear while playing the game. Meanwhile my husband couldn't look people into their eyes without saying a specific phrase and my friend had a task to do each time someone drew a card.
There are five different colored stacks of cards that have different themes such as questions to be answered, tasks that need to done or rules to follow. As you work ahead on the board with the roll of the die, you can also continue moving backwards due to penalties by not being successful with the directions or questions on the card.
Everyone had a ton of fun and I laughed incredibly hard. I'm not usually one who cares to play any game where I have to physically participate or might feel silly doing something, but everyone had a great attitude about participation and we had a great time. Eventually thought we just weren't making progress to the end and people got tired so they quit. This happened the second time as well with a few new players. We just started the game with the mindset that we would just stop playing when we got tired of it if we didn't make it to the end. Even so, I think I had the best ab workout I've had in a long time!
This game is great for families, family gatherings, friends, teen get togethers and more. Note : if you don't have participants with a good attitude and if you aren't willing to consider that it's OK to stop before getting to the end, you may not have as much fun with the game. We plan to be playing this game many times in the future. Well worth the price we paid for it!
