Toys and Games Reviews of Newton's Cradle 5.5"Customer Review: Newton's cradle with wood base Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this for my elementary age science students. The students loved it! Looks more expensive than it is with wood base. I explained to the students how far they could lift the balls and how to keep the strings from getting tangled. There were very few issues. I purchased 100 Newton's cradles for my classes.
Customer Review: Fun toy for a good price Summary: 4 Stars
I was worried that it would be of really bad quality and fall apart quickly, especially after reading some of the other reviews on the net. But it's actually a decent toy. I bought it for a 9 and 12 year old and it's still in one piece, only the strings got tangled a few times. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
Customer Review: This is not just a toy for children... Summary: 1 Stars
Although many parents use this "toy" as a child's play thing, I admire the Newton's Cradle to be more of a memory of the great work done by Newton. The concept of the Newton's Cradle is very pleasing. This product however is cheap and does not fulfill what it promises. I would not suggest this to anyone.
Customer Review: Piece of garbage Summary: 1 Stars
While trying to fit the poles in the holes, the "fishing line" holding the balls on came off on one of the balls. Worse than that, the "poles" do not match up with the holes. I threw it away - guess you get what you pay for, in this case it was like throwing ten bucks in the garbage.
Customer Review: Poor Quality Summary: 1 Stars
Everything about this is poorly made. I should have spent a few more dollars finding a better version. I have seen different versions of these that would keep going for a long time. Because the strings and balls are poorly aligned, this tends to stop after a few seconds.
