Customer Review: Much more fun than flash cards!

I bought this for my daughter and my son who I am home pre-schooling. My daughter is proficient in recognizing all of her upper and lower case letters. My son only recognized about ten of his letters. I bought this to make learning his letters more physical. I have them jump to certain letters, make a long path out of them and sing the abc's while walking, crawling, hopping on the appropriate letter. After only 4 uses, he has doubled his letter recognition. For my daughter, I have her jump to the letter that starts the word frog, horse, cow, milk etc. etc. This has been a great teaching tool for both of them!!Customer Review: Kids love the playmat!

We bought two sets of the Alphabet Foam Play Mats - so glad we did! We have a concrete basement floor, and now the kids have a nice, colorful, and soft place to play. Plus, the foam floor isn't as cold as the concrete - wer're in Colorado. The colors are great - so inviting. The pieces fit together perfectly, and the border gives it a finished look. Great purchase! We'll probably buy more so that we can increase the size of the play area!Customer Review: Great idea, however...

This matt is a great idea, however do not buy it for children under 3, they tend to chew on the pieces since the come off so easily. For the older toddlers it does become a mess once they are done playing because all the pieces come off and you are left with tiny pieces and the letters all over the place. It would be great if they would come up with large size square shapes with the letters and numbers that will not pop out.Customer Review: pefect floor mat for the kids

i love that it's a padded floor mat (great for when they start crawling) and the fact that the letters come out and you can also make cubes out of it is an added bonus.
my only complaint is that there isn't an even number of squares -- one for each letter of the alphabet so it would have been great to have a few numbers to so it could make an even square out of them.

I love the idea of teaching the alphabet to my little baby..My 3 year old had it the past..I got the idea from some pictures of a colorful play zone that I saw here..But my baby is being chewing on them. So I had to taped them with duct tape and It's working fine..Otherwise, I'd given the product 5 starts.
