I bought this book for my baby girl 14 months old, because she already had the Nursery rhyme book and enjoys it so much. She loves this one too. She is very musical, and loves to hear the songs over and over again. Easy to manage and manipulate for a baby. Highly recommend.Customer Review: Cutest thing ever!

This book is the cutest thing! I love everything about it, except that it doesn't turn off. It does become quite after a fairly short time though. The pictures, sounds & songs are all super cute! We got this book for my 16m daughter a couple of months ago and she still loves it. I took it with me to visit relatives and my 18m nephew and my 2.5 y niece loved it. I agree with the reviewer that said it may not work very well to teach up/down, short/tall, etc. since the book's sayings don't match the movements, but that's where I can step in. My biggest complaint is that you can't turn it off. I had it in my purse on the plane and every little movement seemed to set it off and a then a minute later the "automatic" off would kick in with a "bye for now" only to spout out another saying at the next jolt and away we would go. Luckily, it does have a loud and soft control. Not enough annoyance to not recommend the book, but a warning to all those considering purchasing it. Customer Review: Good musical book

I boughter this for my 11-months old daughter and tried to rise her interest in reading. This book works great for her and she loves flipping thru the pages and makes it sings. But it isn't really designed to teach her up/down, left/right, open/close... Since the voice and the sliding/motion don't go together well.
Overall, it's a good MUSICAL book.

This is a great idea from VTECH.
This interactive book is wonderful for introducing babies to books; it won't rip or shred like a regular paper book.
My son loves playing with this book. He has grown with this book too.
What I noticed about this interactive book is that when my son initially played with it
at 3 months of age, he started with turning the pages. As his hands have become more mobile, he pushes
pushes and pulls at the dials and switches. Now, he is clapping and attempting to sing-along
with the music. Also, I would recommend the VTECH Rhyme and Discovery Book which is just like the Winnie The Pooh-Slide 'n Learn Storybook.
