My daughter was jumping up and down over this toy. She was counting, adding, using language skills and smiling the whole time. I literally had to pry it from her hands several nights when she fell asleep playing it. This is also a very good car ride toy. Parts are easy to keep track of and give hours of quiet play. No more "Are we there yet?" every 10 minutes, only every couple hours.Customer Review: My boys love their vsmile pockets!! They can play vmotion smartridges too!

My 6 year old and 3 year old love their vsmile pockets! And we recently discovered that they can use their vmotion smartridges on the vsmile pockets too!! Educational fun on the go! We love that it is so portable, you can plug and play on your television, and if you purchase the charger you can recharge and go!
This has been a great investment! We love vtech and vsmile!

Although my 4 year old enjoys the games and originally bought this for my first son at 5 years, there was some sort of short with the cord and game. If they move when playing the game, it shuts off. I tried to return it to Target, but, it was over the time period for their return policy. I do not have confidence in buying this system or other products made by v tech.

I've had this portable machine for a few years, so durability was not a problem for me, but when I ordered a second one in 2009 I was shocked to see how different it was -- it's much smaller than the one I have and the screen went from 4" to 3" -- a big difference -- I'm disappointed -- I don't want my children straining to see this little screen, but we'll see how it goes...Customer Review: very fun for young players

I find this a great gaming system for my 3 and 5 yr old. The games are educational and pretty easy to learn. I am very disappointed the screen has been scratched within one week. They really enjoy playing in the car on long trips. I recommend the rechargeable battery pack - it last a pretty long time. THe screen is small but who wants them playing for hours anyway?
