Not many interactive keyboards for babies, so this one stands out
Can carry it with you (TV not required)
Cons: Slow response to pressed buttons/keys
Limited no tv use
Video quality is not great
I've found that I enjoy Comfy's software and keyboard better, but it still comes with a usb cable. It also requires the use of a computer and is a little more costly.

The V.Smile baby is i nice little system. i brought it for my 1 1/2 year old sister she enjoys it, for a little while. the only thing about it is, my little sister is very busy. the game hold her attention for a short while and then she's off doing something else. theres not many games for the system yet so you don't have a big option as to what games you should get your child.... but other than that the game is very cute and seems like it will last for a long time than you need it too!Customer Review: It's definitely for babies

I bought this for my son's second birthday. He has sensory processing disorders and he doesn't talk. Someone told me that this toy taught sign language so I thought it would be perfect for him. We've only tried it a couple of times but the graphics are so bad that it is hard to even see the signs being taught. The keyboard functions as a stand alone game (without hooking up the rest of it to the TV) and my son is perfectly happy playing with it like that.Customer Review: Expected more.

My expectations were much too high for this product, based on other V-Smile products as well as Baby Einstein. We purchased this for our 2 yr old daughter. She's entertained by it, so I guess it somewhat meets our needs. The graphics are pixely, not clear...even the names for the objects/animals do not sound correct, e.i. "Tiger" sounds pronounced "Tiga". I'm still contemplating whether or not we should take the console back for a different product.
