I bought this system for my 4 year old for Christmas as his first game system. I originally bought him the Wall.e game (but he got bored with it, so I got him this game). It is way to hard. It asks for a lot of spelling stuff. Like what letter is missing - pick the missing letter for the word. He can't read yet, he has just started learning letters, this is just way to hard for him! He can later grow into it I guess, but I am going to see if their are anymore games for the 3-5 year old group (and what reviews they got).
**I wish I would have got a leapster 2(no I do not work for them but I am just disappointed that he is not able to really enjoy these games without my help all the time).
