We bought this for our 7 (almost 8 year old) daughter for Xmas. She absolutely loves this camera!! She has spent hours and hours of time playing with it. It is very durable-she is worse than most kids her age at taking care of her things, and it has held up to her abuse very well! It has taught her a lot about taking pictures, as well as video. It has amazing picture and sound quality. She loves to make funny pictures with the features that you can add to the pictures you take (she put a pirate eye patch on her Dad). We have had no problems losing pictures when the batteries have to be changed and we don't feel it uses batteries too quickly (nothing like our camera does). I have nothing negative to say about this product. I would recommend it to anyone.Customer Review: Good camera for kids - would have loved better pictures...

It is definitely a great product for kids. I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. She exhausted the battery in no time by clicking snaps and playing the games. I bought her a set of rechargeable batteries to save on the recurring expense. The build is really nice and to a lot extent child proof.
I would have loved if the picture resolution / clarity was better. She gets a decent picture only if the subject is super still. If there is even a tiny movement with the subject, the picture suffers and gets blurred. The auto flash does not seem to fire well. the video mode is much better compared to the picture mode.
All-in-all, my daughter loves the "toy" (as that is what it is finally) and that is what matters.

I looked at just about every kid camera available. I wanted a durable camera but I also wanted the view screen that my 4 year old granddaughter could see before she took the picture. This camera fit the bill. She was so excited she literally jumped up and down that she has a real camera.
This camera takes video and lets you insert a picture on a funny screen. The only negative thing is that switching from taking the picture to reviewing the picture involves turning a dial. The dial has about 5 selections and it is confusing to her. I am sure she will eventually figure it out. All the adults who have used her camera love it!
I definitely made the right choice in choosing this camera for my granddaughter.

My daughter got this camera when she was 4 and kept wanting to play with her older sister's real camera. This has fit the bill perfectly. It has held up to 2 years of normal play, by that I mean I did not have to chase her around the house telling my daughter to be careful, she just played! And it takes pictures and videos just like a "grown up" camera. Granted they are not high def quality, but how much does a 4-6 year old care about that! It has been dropped, carted around in a backpack, and I believe, once, even left in the backyard overnight and survived it all. My daughter takes pictures of everything and I enjoy seeing the world from her perspective. Best gift Santa ever brought!Customer Review: Great Kids Camera

I got this camera for my three year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it. She takes it with her all the time and even sleeps with it. I see myself taking pictures with her camera because it is out and around. The picture quality is the best if held really still but little kids have a hard time doing this but that is okay. They will learn to do this with time and practice. She really likes the games that came with the camera once she was showed how to play them. She also likes that the camera is easy to use and hold on to. All in all this camera is very good for little kids who want to take pictures by themselves.
