very age appropriate. the best thing it has challenging levels , when the work becomes too easy. you can go on to the next level. i would recommend this computer highly, especially if your child is struggling with reading or math.

I gave my 5year old son this Vtech Nitro Notebook for Christmas. He loves it. It is very educational and has really helped him with his spelling. My 4 year old daughter,started using it more then he did, so I had to get her the pink Nitro Notebook. They spend 30 to 45 minutes each day exploring and talking about the new things they find, when using the Nitro. I know it is a wonderful educational source.Customer Review: Had it for a year, was RARELY used...

This was one of those expensive Christmas gifts that entertained my six year old for all of fifteen minutes. He was bored because it was not at all challenging. It was advertised that there were cartridges you could buy that would provide more activities, but in the year we've had this, I have yet to find any. I was just looking to see if there were any links on [...], but there don't seem to be...Customer Review: Ok, but returned for a Leapster instead

I got these for my boys for Christmas, and although they liked them, we ended up returning them and getting Leapsters instead. The screen on here is too small, and the black/white/green screen is hard to see. I found the Leapster to be a bit easier to see and use. I did like some of the learning features on here though, such as Spanish and other subjects that aren't found on a Leapster.Customer Review: It is just Perfect for my 5 Years Daughter

I was looking labtop for my 5 years old daughter as she keep busy with our home computer. I found this on Amazon and it was in great deal that time. We had one from Target but when I got this on great deal, we returned the one we already bought after we verified that it is the same item.
She gets busy with the new labtop and it has a lot of games and learnng activities.
