My 4 year old daughter got this camera for Christmas and it has been a lot of fun this week for both of us playing with all the extras like games, photo editor, and puzzles. My camera has had a broken display for some time so she hasn't been able to play with mine for a while and has always loved to snap and see the pictures we take in an instant. What's great about this gift is that it is very kid sturdy and is designed just for her keeping her occupied for hours on end. And don't forget that it's pink!
I admit that she and I have spent a good deal of time using the Photo Editor to make funny faces out of her brother and our pet dog, but we have also made some pretty cool edits that turned out "scrapbook worthy." (If that is even considered a term.) All in all I think it has brought out some new creativity in her. In fact she takes it every where we go, kind of like a photo journalist. It has been a hoot!

I bought this camera for my 4-year-old and she absolutely loves it! She is not ready for an "adult" camera (and I can't believe any child under the age of 8 would be). It's important not to lose sight of the fact that this is toy camera meant for preschoolers and not an advanced digital camera meant for professionals. It a play camera for little kids. If you can keep that in mind, then I think you and your preschooler would be thilled with this toy. It takes reasonably good pictures and will teach your child to keep a steady hand. The games and editing features are really fun and easy for a preschooler to learn. We also love that we can plug this camera in to our TV and view a slideshow of our daughter's latest shots. She's had a ball with it. It seems to be pretty durable as it's been dropped several time... once halfway down the stairs. Overall, I think it a great product if you are looking for a camera for a preschooler.Customer Review: Great camera for kids!

After doing some light research and sending my findings to Santa, my daughter got this camera for Christmas and loves it. She is just over 3 years old and this camera is perfect for her age. She quickly figured out the basics of how to use it, and while we have our fair share of pictures of the floor and her finger she's also taken some cute ones of family and pets. It's been dropped on hardwood floors a couple of times and has held up well. She loves all the little picture enhancements. I'm surprised at how long the batteries and internal memory has lasted (haven't had to change the batteries yet and I've only cleared off a few pictures). You're probably not going to win any photo contests with the quality of picture that it takes, but you also have to keep in mind that it's as much a toy as it is an introduction to picture taking. I think it's something that she'll use for years to come. Highly recommended!Customer Review: Awesome

The pictures are not that great, but hey, it's for kids, what'd ya want? My 4 year old daughter loves this camera. The games are lacking, I think, but they are enough to keep her occupied for a bit, and she loves to run around taking pictures. She probably took over 200 pictures the first day! (and I am not over-estimating). Very durable - both my 4 year old and my 9 month old have given the durablility quite the test, and it passed. She loves when we hook the camera up to the tv and we all look through the pics together. There is even a function where you can take pictures of people and super-impose funny hats or other accessories. She picked it up really quickly and as showing us how to use it at the end of the first day. The one drawback is that there needs to be lots of light for the pictures to turn out decent. I bought this camera for my 5 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She instantly started using this as soon as we put the batteries in. She has been taking pictures and recording video. It's one of her favorite gifts. The only problem is I also have a 4 year old granddaughter that was jealous and have now ordered another one for her upcoming birthday. It was simple to use and takes pretty good pictures for a child's camera. She can also play the games that comes with it. Also, if she drops it, it won't break like an adult's camera would. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a gift idea for the young child who loves to take pictures. Be sure and get an SD card and four double A batteries. It provides hours of entertainment.
