Customer Review: Intriguing Fun for 4-8 Year Olds

These V-Tech games are fun for all ages. In Aladdin, you can fly on a magic carpet, explore the city looking for letters of the alphabet, and search underground ruins for treasure. The games can be set so that the player never looses. In Adventure Play mode you play the games in order as a story unfolds. You can also choose to play individual games. In the most difficult game for my little guy, a giant cobra threatens Aladdin. Aladdin can send fireballs toward the cobra. The cobra is always on the move and the player must move the picture to the cobra's mouth and send a fireball. If the picture belongs in the category, Aladdin is safe. If the player shoots at a picture that does not belong in the category the cobra breathes fire and Aladdin looses some of his life force. This is too much coordination for my little guy. He hands me the controls until I get him past that task. I don't mind because we can play together and he enjoys playing despite the cobra.

Join Aladdin on an exciting adventure through the Agrabah market, the Cave of Wonder and the Sultan's Palace, as he embarks on a journey to defeat Jafar and find Princess Jasmine. Along the way, Aladdin will need to solve equations, find keys and passwords to open doors, ride a flying carpet and perform many other challenging tasks.To defeat Jafar, kids must master six challenging games in the Learning Adventure mode. The games range from spelling words in the Agrabah market to solving math problems to find Jasmine in Jafar's palace. The Learning Adventure games also enhance spatial skills and hand-eye coordination. Four shorter Learning Zone games focus on spelling and math to keep kids on target with school skills. Providing hours of exciting game play, this V.Smile Smartridge works with all V.Smile Learning systems (sold separately).
Aladdin has all sorts of magical tricks up his sleeve to get kids learning in this challenging activity and games Smartridge. It?s designed to work with the V-Tech V-Smile system, is compatible with your television set, and teaches a variety of skills including spelling, number patterns, logic, vocabulary, math, and classification. The games, which can be played on either a hand held V-Smile unit or on a regular television should pose an entertaining challenge to younger children.
