Customer Review: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We bought this for our 5 year old son, he LOVED playing this, for the short time that it worked. It only lasted about 4 months then we began having trouble getting the video to show up on the screen. We honestly thought our son had done something to it to mess it up and knowing how much he loved playing it, we bought another one. And sad to say that after only about 3 1/2 months, that one did the exact same thing. These things are horribly made and should be sold. Please, save yourself the headache and your child the heartbreak and find something else to buy. This one will only leave you very upset.Customer Review: V Smile is a great thing for kids

I love the V Tech V. Smile! More importantly so do my kids! It's so easy to use, a 2 year old can play it, and learn just as easily as a 4 year old. Both of my sons love it so much that they fight over it all the time, so i would definitly reccomend buying two V smile systems, and maybe a third for yourself. My 4 year old William has learned alot of numbers and letters just by playing the games that we bought for him. The games are very educational and easy to play. It will definitly help my Wife and I get him ready for school in the fall. We all love it and give the V Tech V. Smile 5 stars.Customer Review: decent product for young kids

We bought this for our daughter's 4th birthday and so far are satisfied (it has been about 2 weeks). She has quickly learned how to turn it on, select the game she wants to play, etc. Inserting cartridges usually requires help from an adult as they click in very hard. The graphics are what you'd expect for the price. The microphone & sing a long sections are a hit. We find writing with the stylus and small pad a bit difficult especially for the 4 year old. So far we like this product. It's part educational part game and apparently fun for preschoolers.Customer Review: Good System!!

Bought this for my then 2 1/2 yr old daughter. Was a little hard for her at first but now she is almost 4 (in 3 months) and loves all the games. The 3-5 yr old games are perfect for her. Love hearing her yell "Mommy, I did it!!!" Wish VTech could figure out and fix the power problem that most of the systems seem to have. Gets frustrating when you pust the on button and nothing happens(even w/ new batteries!) But overall, my daughter loves it and has learned alot.
It is worth the hassle of pushing the power button several times!!

I have bought 2 of these v. smile consoles, and neither are working anymore. The first one quit several months into play, and the second one lasted a little longer at about 6 months. They weren't dropped or anything like that and just died. Considering the cost for each one, I expected them to last much longer and was extremely disappointed when they did not. I gave it 3 stars, because my son loves playing the games. My son still wants to play, but I refuse to continue throwing my money away on something that doesn't last long.
