The graphics are horrible- my expectations weren't high, but my daughter couldn't even tell what the pictures were supposed to be (and neither could I!). She played with it for about an hour total over the course of a week, and then the system stopped turning on. What a waste- I had purchased 5 games with the system and spent well over $100...for nothing!!!!!Customer Review: breaks too easily

my 5 year old daughter loves the games of vsmile. unfortunately it's a piece of ***. first the adapter broke, so i bought a replacement. a few weeks later, the unit itself broke. i feel bad because we have amassed a number of vsmile games and was thinking of buying the portable one for travels. but with it's lack of durability, i'm moving on to leapster.Customer Review: V-Smile console

I hope this newer version lasts longer than the other two my son went through. He is very careful with taking care of his toys, yet two broke and I went through numerous adapters for it (which you have to buy seperately and never lasted more than a month. However I will say that the V-Smile is very educational for children and is fun at the same time.Customer Review: glad to see i wasn't the only one with problems with this product

I received this as a gift for my kids a few years ago, and after less than a year it just quit working. I have a three year old now and wanted to purchase another one since i had so many games for it, but I'm glad i read all these reviews! I will try some other education gaming system instead! My mom bought a V-tech for my oldest 3 yrs ago and it quit working right before Christmas 2007. So my 5 & 3 yr olds asked the man in the big red suit for another one. We purchased another one and they love it even more with the new controllers that they can trace the letters on. We also have the Thomas & Friends game which they love.
