Customer Review: Stops working, like everyone elses!

I bought the VSmile for my daughter last year. It was fun for her and her younger brother and some of the games were educational. After 6 months or so, the machine would power up sporadically, and eventually stopped altogether. The shame of it was that as soon as the kids were comfortable playing the games, it died on us! So, I was preparing to order another, but with all the reviews commenting on this same thing happening, I will not be purchasing another.Customer Review: V Smile TV

This has been a good alternative to the other more expensive video games out there. The games are kid friendly and with 2 controllers two kids can play together. For the price I think this is a good entertainment system. I gave it 4 stars because we did have a problem with the first console and had to buy another, but the first one did last more than a year. So the quality is not great but we already had so many games it was worth buying another console.Customer Review: Great Buy

This was a great buy. I bought it 4 1/2 years ago for my 3 1/2 year old little girl. It is still going strong for my now 4 year old son. On occassion it freezes or the screen doesn't come up right but all it takes is to be plugged back in sometimes. But, it also has taken a lot of beating. I'm looking to actually update the system with the newer version. My son loves it and is also loveing the portable one that he just recieved for Christmas.Customer Review: Don't waste your money!!!

We have owned 2 hand held unit's and they work off and on, we also own both the t.v. units (original and motion) and both just STOP working!!!! I have contacted v-tech MULTIPLE times and they keep sending me new units and they all do the same thing, STOP working!!!!! I would not pay ten cents for any product by them ever again!!!!! If you want a good learning product stick with leapfrog, they take abuse and just keep working!!!!!!!!!Customer Review: very dissapointed

It is just very sad. This is an awesome toy, and my kids love playing with it. When it works. I have been through two of them, and one pocket vsmile, and now my five year old is begging to play the games, and I just don't want to waste my money buying another one. The games are great for little kids, they are fairly educational, and easy for the kid to play, but the darn thing keeps breaking, and won't turn on anymore.
