Are you kidding me!! The V-Smiles batteries are dead AGAIN! That does it I've got to figure out something to stop the money drainage. AH an adapter that runs off electricity. This adapter is really worth the money. My child plays her VSmile so much that she would have already blown through double the money in batteries since Christmas. I can only imagine the money this adapter is going to save me seeing as the VSmile has educational games for my child geared toward her next five years.Customer Review: Does exactly what it should

There is not much to say about this adapter except it does exactly what it should - it allows the Vtech reader to run on electrical power vs. batteries. Batteries die out too quick on the Vtech reader and this solved my problem! The product works as it should and I am satisfied with it; I recommend it.Customer Review: Found it at Target

I purchased this yesterday at Target for 9.99, and they had about 10 on the shelf. I see Toys-R-Us has lowered the price to 11.99, so they seem to be moving in the right direction.
It works so far, fingers are crossed that I don't have the problems the lady who had bought two had.

We got this to go with my sons VSmile system he got for Christmas. We plugged it in and it wouldn't work. A few friends of mine have told me the same thing happened to them so all are using batteries now. I'm VERY disappointed in this adapter and wouldn't recomend it to anyone
