Toys and Games Reviews of Murder Mystery Party - A Murder on the GrillCustomer Review: A twist on the backyard bbq Summary: 5 Stars
This is the second Murder Mystery Party we've done. (the first was a Mexican Fiesta theme - Burrito Bandito). We had 8 guests and ourselves. As hosts we chose to be the "extras," but it was still great fun. Get a willing group who you know will fully participate - dress the part, act the part. Set the mood and have a fun. Something different then just inviting people over for same barbeque or dinner. It is meant for adults, however, I think older teens could enjoy it.
Customer Review: Fun for the summer Summary: 5 Stars
We ordered this party game for our daughter's 16th birthday. The planning and decorating was fun with great ideas from the game. The teens had a great time figuring out "who dunnit." We threw in some prizes for the kids as well. Bigger prizes went for the best costume and solver of the mystery. But we also handed out coffee stand bucks for who could hula hoop the longest, trivia, and if ANY one could yo-yo at all. Fun night for every one.
Customer Review: Have a Fun Evening! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this item as a gift, having participated in a different murder mystery earlier. I especially appreciated the reviews of others, and the suggestion that it is really designed for six players, rather than the 8 mentioned. The two extra persons don't really have anything to do. So, enjoy!! Having decorations, attire, and food in keeping with the theme will add a lot to the fun of the evening!!
Customer Review: Good game Bad Directions Summary: 3 Stars
This Game was fun. We had burgers,Dressed up,And decorated like the 50's.But When It came time to play the game the "private dialoge" Was written in first personand No one figured this out unitel the end of the first round. The overall plot was GREAT though but the answer is Unreal. Overall it was a Ok game.
Customer Review: Loved the game up until the ending Summary: 3 Stars
I do not want to give anything away, but I was disappointed with the, "who dunnit." I thought ease of use and theme and characters were great. I had a 13 year old boy play a character and that is about as young as I would go. I would have highly recommended if not for the ending.
