Customer Review: A Little Disappointed.....

These Planets & Stars were bought to entice my preschooler into his room at night.There were 9 planets and 21 stars, both in different sizes. I thought that the planets would be plastic like the stars, but they were not - they were cardboard with the colored planet coated in areas with the glow in the dark substance. This was not what I was looking for. Also, the kit came with adhesive putty to stick the planets and stars to the wall - not what I was expecting, I was anticipating more of a plastic, stick on star/planet. The positives of this product is that it is cheap for the number of pieces you receive. This kit wasn't bad (especially for the price) but just was not what I was looking for.Customer Review: Disappointed

Well i didn't look too closely at the dimensions of the stars or planets when buying, just kind of looked at the picture and thought it looked good. The stars and planets are all very small. I thought it was in a box with a good amount of material packaged but actually what you see is a piece of cardboard with all the stars and planets right there under plastic. So just was not what i was hoping for but i guess i should have studied it a little more :)Customer Review: Oh what a starry night!

I love these stars!! They look great in the dark, especially since I have black lights in my room so the effect is amplified. They are easy to stick and none have fallen off yet. The only thing is the planets glow really bright first and than slowly over the days glow less and less. However, the stars still have a great glow and they are fascinating to stare at during the night. These are really cool for kids, teenagers or even adults.Customer Review: ...going to bed is now fun!

My 4 year old son is in awe of his starry sky. There are nine planets and 21 stars in this kit. The planets themselves are nicely colored (realistic photographic look of each of the nine planets) and add to the room's decor in the daylight. And they glow wonderfully in the dark. The stars are an off white color in the daylight. They are quite birght in the dark. This is a great product at such a reasonable price.Customer Review: Great for the young solar system enthusiast

My nephew is in love with the solar system right now and I got these as a Christmas gift for him. He loves them and enjoys having them all over his room. If you are looking for something that glows in the dark, this is a fun set because it has planets as well as stars. They aren't necessarily overly educational, but used with other materials they could help in that regard. Overall, a good gift.
