I have purchased Great Explorations glow in the dark stars before, quite a few years ago. I was much more satisfied with the quality of the stars then. This order of stars bragged about the amount of stars in the package. What they don't tell you is most of them are extremely small. The few big stars they give you don't seem to absorb the light as well as the small ones. The quality of this product has definately deteriorated from the orignal production. Other than that, the order came quickly and I had no other problems. The little stars do hold the light well, but they are small.Customer Review: Starry Nights

These stars are exactly as advertised. We combined this kit with another kit because my daughter has a HUGE bedroom. We put the stars all over the ceiling, and then my tween son said, "It would be cool to put some on the walls, too." So we scattered them here and there on the walls. The other kit I purchased had star stickers in it, so I put that on her white furniture (not very noticeable in the daytime).
When we turn off the lights at night, it feels like we are all sitting in a planetarium. She absolutely loves it!

The kids love them. They are nicely bright: you can see them immediately after turning off the light, no waiting for your eyes to adjust. The putty works great - you only need a small amount per star and it sticks very well. I just wish the putty were in a different or bigger package: we already lost it! I kind of hated the packaging: like many people here I give a star per night as some kind of reward system (it actually works!) and it is not resealable at all. I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. We had alot of fun putting them up on the ceiling in various designs, it did come with a star chart so you can put the stars up in constelations, we just opted to not use it. So far the stars have been up for three months and are giving no signs of falling, and they still glow as well as they did when I first purchased them. It was nice having the various sizes of the stars as well. A very nice set of glow stars!Customer Review: Wonderful Investment

These stars fulfilled their purpose flawlessly. The come with more than enough putty that is very durable and only requires a little big for the stars to stick. The stars are very bright--bright enough to dimly illuminate my entire room for several minutes when just charged. The glow continues to last for quite a long time. Overall a great investment in glow in the dark stars for the price and the different sizes are very cool for making a varying night sky.
