I didn't think to read the reviews on this product until after I purchased it.
A lot of people were complaining about how there isn't enough puddy/big stars.
The puddy: You don't need to use a lot for one star. At all. So there's more than enough puddy if anything! I used the tiniest amount ever and the stars stay sticking to the ceiling!
Big stars vs little stars: It's true. We only got 5 of the biggest stars. Some of the 2nd biggest stars. A million of the tiny stars. To me, it's fine. I feel like having TOO many big stars wouldn't be as appealing and the big stars wouldn't be as great looking if there were too many of them. It would be nice to have a couple more, though. The little stars, I didn't know they could even get so little! But it's not a big deal. They end up looking like real stars at night.
All in all, I really don't mind these stars and I would recommend them. They grow beautifully bright! The Big star vs little star problem, wasn't a big problem to me at all.

This is a good quality product. They glow bright even after a few minutes exposure to light. They do not work well with another light source in the room (we have the 'moon in my room') but are great once we switch it off.
There are plenty of stars in the packet for a ceiling but they are so good that we will be buying a second pack for the walls.
There is a nice assortment of sizes and they make an impressive display.
The only downside is that they are a little mean with the putty. I really didn't use much on each star, except the largest size which fell down with less putty on them, and we were short for about 15 stars. I am certain that if I took the time I could get just enough putty on each star but I'd rather they gave a sliver more and saved me the chore. As we are buying another pack I am ordering some museum putty along with it.

There are plenty of stars in this pack to share between a couple of descent size rooms, or to load up just one room's ceiling with stars. There is also PLENTY of putty to use. In fact, at the rate I'm going, I expect to have a little bit left over. You really only need to use a very small amount. The stars will stick (and stay!) with the tiniest amount. If you can't contain youself from using alot of putty for each star, then you will run out for sure. I got these thinking they might help my 3 year old in the dark at night. I was going to put them all up at once, when I realized she could earn them. For every night she goes to bed without giving us the run around, she earns one star. For every nap she takes, she earns two. It works a good chunk of the time. Anyway, I highly recommend this company for glow in the dark ceiling stars.Customer Review: Great for the price

used these for my three year old sons room. They had a lot of glow - granted they receive a lot of sunlight during the day to charge them up. I wanted stars for my 1 year olds room, tried ordering a jar of stars here on amazon that were a little more expensive, and they were NOT as good as these. The tack only takes a little to stay up really well, but I still wish they had added more to the package. The other stars that were a little more expensive then these started falling off the ceiling the first night, and they had little stickers to attach each one. The other ones didnt glow for more then ten minutes, and this one stayed bright for a good hour after we put our son down. buy this star set - they are great. this is the 2nd box i've bought,, the first one i found at target and they stayed on my bedroom ceiling for at least 2 yrs before i moved. now that i'm in another state, i cldn't find them anywhere until amazon. i've had them on this bedroom ceiling for 3 yrs and only one fell down. its amazing how little sticky stuff holds them up. and when you take them down, it doesn't damage the ceiling (but both my ceilings hv been flat, no popcorn) they hv staying power and glow until i've fallen asleep. these are great for all ages (i'm an adult but you're never too old to enjoy a simple bit of fun :)
