I bought this for my 6 year-old niece for Christmas. I thought it would be a fun toy to have in her room. Who wouldn't want their own rainbow? Well, the only way we could really see the rainbow was to go inside the bathroom, turn off all the lights and close the door. Any kind of outside light made it very hard to see the rainbow at all. Overall, this toy was just not worth the $30 I paid for it. We're sending it back to get something she'll actually enjoy.Customer Review: Neat gift

My daughter loved this gift! I got it for her 7th birthday. It's such a neat toy. She has been wanting a nightlight & she loves rainbows. This gift is perfect for her. It isn't a ton of fun & it doesn't do very much, but I didn't expect a whole lot of excitement from it. You have to buy an ac adapter separate or it uses up AAA batteries & shuts off after 10 minutes. With the power cord it will stay on until you turn it off. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas... less than one month, and at least 3 battery changes later, the rainbow is not much more than a faint streak of light in her room. When I initially bought it, the colors were vibrant, and we were very happy with the light that it produced. Now, my daughter is back to wanting other sources of light in her room as this rainbow is hardly visible, even with new batteries. Certainly not worth the money.Customer Review: Works great

Ordered this for my 8-year old daughter. She absolutely loves it. The colors are bright and vivid. Very satisfied with the purchase. One thing to keep in mind is that it's not meant as a toy to be picked up and played with - there could be durability issues if it is. If it's used as intended and set on a table etc., it should be fine. Also, the light is very bright if you accidentally look directly at it, so something to be aware of there too.Customer Review: Coolest thing ever!

We gave our daughter this for Christmas, not knowing what to expect because we had never heard of such a thing. It is just the coolest thing ever. She wants it on every night! It shines the most beautiful, realistic rainbow on her walls and ceiling; from end to end in a perfect arch. Just press the button and adjust it to where you want it to project. An awesome and original gift! Ordering another one for an upcoming birthday right now!
