We use this for our son's bedroom as a nightlight. He loves it, it is an amazing device considering how simple the concept is. Wonderful rainbow spread over the room, good colors, but if you have kids who cannot sleep when you have too much light in the room, it might not be the right product for you---It generates A LOT of light!Customer Review: Lots of ohs & ahs from the kids!!!

Works best at night or in a dark room during the day, but it can also be partially seen in low light situations. I would recommend purchasing a 40mm crystal ball together with this product so that you can enjoy rainbows throughout the day and at night. Goos idea, but this product doesn't work. First it didn't come with a manual, so we had no idea how to operate. The motion sensor didn't work unless you put your hand over the top amd when the LED's finally came on we left wondering where the rainbow was? We tried in a dark room also and nothing. Needless to say we returned it.Customer Review: Not impressed

My daughter received this as a christmas gift. We found it very unimpressive, frankly - a waste of a gift. The room does have to be very dark to see anything, and because her walls are painted a color it is very difficult to see anything. Perhaps if her bedroom walls were white, or very light - it would be more interesting.Customer Review: Name sounds great - but that's it!

This "toy" sounds wonderful but it was the biggest disappointment! The device only displays a very light rainbow and it doesn't even rotate or anything. This thing sucks - waste of money. The picture makes it look like the rainbow rotates or displays more than one - not true. Talk about false advertising.
