This is a great toy for kids aged 1 to 10! I have given this gift out approximately eight times now! My kids have one and love it. It shines a rainbow on the wall at night in a magical way! It's not meant to be a durable toy, it is for looks. My kids don't touch it so it holds up just fine, but I am certain that if roughed up, it wouldn't survive.Customer Review: disappointed

I purchase this for my daughter last christmas. It was very disappointing. It only showed a faint color on wall barely visable. We still had to use a night light. I wouldn't recommend it. I found a color changing glade light that works great. I just took out the scent and its a colorful night light that changes colors and it was alot cheaper.Customer Review: Great fun at bedtime

My 4-year old received this for Christmas and I'm planning on buying it for her friend's birthday. We've often moved it to make the rainbow "walk" across the ceiling (and tell stories about where it's going and what it will do), and we've simply used it as bedtime "ambiance" - either way, it's worth the small amount of space on the dresser!Customer Review: rainbow maker

very pretty, we use it as a nightlight. It can be a small rainbow if its on a shelf and is using the back of the shelf as the reflection or on the bureau and the rainbow can go across the ceiling. Its usually on the bureau so not sure of its durability. It also is ona timer so it stays on for about a minute, you cannot adjust the time.Customer Review: not a very bright rainbow

The idea is fun. I like the thought behind the product. However, after buying this for my 8 year old daughter who loves rainbows, I was a little bit disappointed. The rainbow is not very bright at all. With all the lights off in her room and doors shut it still isn't very bright. I would not purchase this again unless it was improved.
