Customer Review: Great for storytelling!

It is true, it only works with batteries, and darkness is needed to see it reflected in the wall, but my two daughters (must say 3 and 10) LOVE to use it at night before sleep, great for bed stories about rainbow, fairies, etc. For us it is totaly worth (I am thinking in buying the second one, since they start to sleep in different rooms and both NEED it at night).

My daughter (4) no longer needs to sleep with a night light in her room. She's convinced that all the beautiful colors in her rainbow chase away bad dreams. I love that it stays on 10 mins. That's just long enough for her to fall asleep and there's no drain on the batteries. We also have "Moon in my Room" another Uncle Milton toy, for my son. We love these products.Customer Review: FUN

The Rainbow in My Room by Uncle Milton is more a decoration than a toy. Although our daughter has so much fun with it and making up stories and acting them out that it is also a play prop. She enjoys going to sleep under the rainbow every night and with the automatic shut off - it saves on batteries. This isn't actually a toy, but rather a decoration, so I can't give it a detailed rating. I can tell you that it is small enough to fit comfortably on a nightstand, and it does project a detailed rainbow across a standard size bedroom. I have only 2 two small complaints.It requires almost complete darkness for the effect, and it doesn't have an on/off button.Customer Review: great for a nightlight!

my 5 year old LOVES rainbows, so I bought this for her for Christmas. at first I was concerned because it's battery operated only and i planned to use it as a night light. It has a timer that automatically shuts off after 10 min, which is perfect. she has her rainbow on her wall to fall asleep to and it doesn't stay on all night. i highly recommend it.
