I ordered this for my son's space-themed bedroom. The texture and color of the moon is great and it's fun for my son to watch the different phases of the moon and learn about it. I wish the remote had a shutoff as the product does not appear to have automatic shut-off as it claims. Also did not receive the glow-in-the-dark stars that were supposed to be included so that was kind of a bummer. Overall a great product for kids.

This detailed model shows the maria, terrae, ejecta, impact craters and other lunar landmark in relief. With a touch from the remote you can advance the Moon through its phases, lit by internal LED lights. It makes a great nightlight, as it will turn on in a darkened room and stay on for 30 minutes.
