This is the second "Moon in my Room" for our house. Purchased this one after my little one tossed the original remote down the stairs and it broke. The replacement remote w/ shipping cost almost as much as another moon so we purchased another moon kit and use the 1 remote for both moons. Bought this for my twins' space bedroom and have loved turning it on for them every night. I even bought a book that talks about the phases so they know all about it. I read other reviews about how the battery life was horrible but I have had the same batteries in it and haven't changed them in over a month. Great product.Customer Review: Very Nice Lightlight

This is so cool. Has two modes: one where it changes every 5 seconds, two where you set the moon phase and it doesn't change.
It has a built in timer that turns it off after 30 minutes so you won't drain the battery all night.
My 7-year old son loves it and uses it to go to sleep to every night.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old granddaughter. The parents appreciated the informational aspects, the spatial relationship between the earth sun and moon. As for my granddaughter, she'll understand it more when she is a little older, but for now she just likes having her own remote control...

Was rather dubious about this initially. I mean how much fun can a moon nightlight really be. But, having bought it for my kid who is doing about moon phases at school, I was really pleased about how much he enjoys it. In addition to the educational value of moon phases it is on everynight as a nightlight. No complaints.
