Toys and Games Reviews of Uncle Milton Digital World CamCustomer Review: Stealth Camera Summary: 2 Stars
Anyhow the camera looks nice. It is plastic, so is nearly everything light. The case that comes with it, has the strap to tie it someplace. You just fold the front flap back & secure with the Velcro (loop & fastener).
I don't like that screws hold the battery housing closed, because that'll get lost very fast, & the cover isn't strong enough to hold the batteries if the camera is bumped.
Also, the sd card cover is secured the same way. I'm taking it this is to hinder bugs from crawling inside.
I picked this up for a friend, because you can't just go out & pick up a roll of film anywhere, & her old one takes film. Why spend hundreds when you may use it once or twice?
Digital is the way to go, for instant satisfaction, & 1.3 MP is fine to see who is crawling under the deck (or whatever you use it for). Seeing that it has a motion sensor, I may stick it near the bird house & catch a few bird shots, or the occasional cat.
Being under 30.00 is great, as you can see, not too many higher ones has motion & night vision. I'll try to load a picture here of the actual shots, but Amazon says this camera may not be available, so that may be hard. You'll have to find me on the net.
I took a few shots & plugged the cord into the computer. I didn't load the software, because I really don't want it. The shots weren't all that clear, but you can figure out what it is. You aren't going to win any Nat Geo awards with it, that's for sure. It says it takes 1.3 MP pics, but I doubt that they are. My old HP was 1.3MP & these photos aren't that clear, nor that large. They are Black & White, with a night vision look.
The camera isn't that fast, so the "critter" will have to be standing there, for a descriptive shot. If it just walks past, you'll get a shot of nothing (or what the camera is pointing towards).
But not a bad little camera for the money. It eats batteries way faster than most, & even more so (obviously) when you leave it on all night. So use rechargeable batteries if you can.
