Customer Review: I will never buy from Uncle Milton again

I suppose that it is likely for problems to arise with tadpoles. The container itself looks fine, I actually think it would house frogs quite nicely. However, we never got frogs. We ordered the tadpoles from uncle milton. They arrived at the end of March. They stayed tadpoles with no sign of maturing for over a month. I contacted uncle milton who said it could take longer in colder climates. In May the tadpoles started sprouting their little tails and we thought how nice, we will have frogs soon. Instead by July they were both dead and never became frogs.
We were following directions, the few given in the information pack. It seemed from the look of them as if their feet were stuck inside their bodies. We contacted Uncle Milton again and they said they would send out new tadpoles. We waited but none came. We contacted them again. We emailed, we called. They again said they would send out new tadpoles. They didn't. In Septemeber I contacted them again to say, just send a refund, it was going to be too cold again to deal with these tadpoles. Twice I emailed them regarding a refund. In October they said they would send one out. They didn't. In Decemeber I emailed saying that I refuse to buy any of the Uncle Milton items on my son's wish list as he was so devastated the last time and we still had not resolved the issue. In January I emailed again, called, and to this day there is no refund.
I am not sure if it is the product that is the problem. I have had issues with similar companies- INSECT LORE was brilliant when our caterpillars arrived 2 days earlier than requested and went into their crysalis before my son opened his butterfly house for his birthday. They sent out a coupon for free caterpillars within the week! So, this only convinced me more of the lack of professional attention at Uncle Milton. Poor customer service and failing to refund my money after they said they would has lost me as a customer.
