i ordered this po-ke-no set because i thought it was the identical version of the original pokeno in the red box just with larger pictures. my family and i play pokeno and everybody identifies 'their' game board using the center of each board, the game boards are not the exact same version as the original game in the red box and the centers are different ex. no queen of clubs center, no deuce of spades center, no ace of spades center, etc so for us who have memorized the cards and believe their card is the 'lucky one' this doesn't work, i'll have to keep this one as an additional and order the original one in the red box.Customer Review: Disappointment

I was disppointed in the game. It does come with larger print on the cards but the cards are much smaller than the normal Po-Ke-No cards. If you cover the area with a bingo chip, you can't even tell what card it is. Not only that, but on one of the cards, there was a 6 of spades printed twice...I guess you could call that the "bonus" card...I call it cheating! I would not buy it had I known. The deck of playing cards that come with it are very nice for those of us that are visual learners...nice big letters, numbers and suits.Customer Review: amazing

For a girls night once a month, my friends and I got up a pokeno night but we needed the game and we couldn't find it in any local store. I ordered this game through amazon and two days later it was waiting for me on the steps when I got home. This is the newer version of cards which the card is the same size as the old game with the pictures being bigger, which is great. Now we don't have to get out the eyeglasses to see the playing cards on each game card. Thanks.Customer Review: Way Back When!

As a little girl in the late 50's we use to watch my mother and grandmother and other members of the family play this game on Sunday nights, sort of family time. I had been looking for the origional game for a long time. Well, I was sort of disappointed that the boards are smaller now, but my mother just love the size of the boards and the easy to read cards. I play Pokeno with a group of friends every week. The large print Bicycle brand certainly enhances the game, especially for our aging eyes. Compared to the original game, however, there is a problem. One card has a duplicate 6 of the same suit, 2 cards have the same center, and four of a kind is not in a row. Still fun to use, just have to improvise to get around the flaws.
