Customer Review: A Great Educational Card Game & not for just children...

This is another in a serious of spin-off's of the old & great Authors Game, played much the same. It's fun for children (probably 8 & over) on up. We have game night often & this has been enjoyed by family & friends. It also acquaints us all with famous inventors & lists 4 inventions for each. The goal is to succeed in taking from other gamers, or drawing from the deck, the matching inventor cards to make sets of 4. With 2 players, it's an easier game, with additional players, it's more exciting & trying to guess which player has your needed card(s) or if it still remains undrawn from the deck, is good fun. It doesn't require great skill, much depends on your cards drawn. Of course, the more you play the game (or the other games like it), the more you learn in a fun way (whether it be inventors, explorers, famous women, authors, childrens authors, the original "Authors"...the best...& more). Whether adults or children, there's lots to be learned here...as well as good fun in store in a game with simple rules for all ages, from good readers on up.
This card game, & others like it are definitely NOT toys & wish it was not categorized that way because teens & adults will miss a really worthwhile game!!

You can also play most other card games with this deck too, while simultaneously learning about the inventors that changed history! The cards cover a wide array of inventors throughout history ranging from Archimedes to the Wright Brothers. Also includes a handy rule card for the game. Perfect for children and adults!
