Customer Review: A Great & Educational Card Game!!

As a kid many years ago, we played "Authors" which was "The" most popular indoor kids game of all. I learned early on many of the classic authors and their works. We, and our friends, used to pull out the cards everytime we had the chance, and when I grew up, went away to college and eventually married and started my own family, I searched for Authors to enjoy with my kids, but couldn't find it anyplace. Now that I have grandchildren, I've been delighted to find it once again. It turned up first on eBay when someone spotted it & gifted me with a gently used set. Now I see Amazon is carrying this same fun card game, now newly produced with exact replicas of the original set. This is a delightful family game and our whole family is enjoying playing together (which is something many families are seeking). It's simple & easy to play which is great so young readers can be included (about 10 & up) but not boring for youth or adults. I am SO glad it's once again available!
Description of Authors Card Game
For more than 130 years, Authors has been an American favorite. This bridge-sized deck can be used for any playing card game or you can play the original game. Similar to Go Fish, the original Authors game has players collecting "books" of authors. A book is a set of 4 identical author cards. Play continues until all books are collected. The player with the most at the end of the game is the winner.Authors include:
