Customer Review: Good item, pretty small though

I purchased this Boots Ty Beanie Baby a few weeks ago and just got it in the mail. For the record, shipping went fine as usual with Amazon. I have read the reviews a little too late and not sure why I actually impulse-bought this item other than the fact that I was shopping online with my daughter and she got very excited when she saw the picture of this stuffed animal. Anyway, as I later read the reviews I was going to try to change my order and cancel this but it was too late. I am glad I at least was ready to receive a little 5 inch stuffed animal. Here are my pros and cons:
Pros:
Good quality-well made and I don't foresee any issues on that end. BeanieBaby makes good little stuffed animals and this is no different.
Appearance- it is exactly as it looks in the pic, and my daughter does really like it and has been playing with it a lot today.
Cons:
Size- the general complaint, it is truly between 5 inches and 6 inches.
Cost- this probably should be sold for about $4.50 at best.
Overall I would give this a 6 out of 10, and think it is a good purchase only if you realize the size and are ok paying the price they ask. I would say that this would go for about 25-50 cents at a rummage sale.

I purchased this "Boots" doll because my two year old granddaughter loves everything "Dora". This product exceeded my expectations, and my granddaughter was and is still very excited with him. I was unable to find "Boots" anywhere, so I was very happy to see him on Amazon. He is the perfect size to go along with her "Bedtime Dora", and they both go to bed with her at night and for naps. The toy comes with a cord and suction cup attached to its head which is easily clipped off. My wife and I bought this Boots Beanie Baby for our 19 month old granddaughter. She just loves Dora, Diego and Boots. we thought of getting the larger versions of Boots but elected not to because of the cost. I think we made the right decision. Our grandbaby just loves this toy. She plays with it for hours a day. She sits Boots next to her while she watches the show. It is the perfect size to carry around and take with us in the car etc. She does have a few larger stuffed animals but seems to really like this size. Also, it does match the size of the other dozens of Beanie Babies in our collection. Since we bought this, we have also purchaced Dora and Diego of the same size and she really enjoys all of them!Customer Review: Great little toy for little hands

I got this for my 2 year old son for Christmas and he immediately loved it and this became one of his favorites. It's very hard to find any "Boots" toys and was very happy when I came across this one. This is not a big toy, but it's not the size of a keychain either (unless your a giant). It's the perfect size toy for my son to take just about anywhere and when he gets tired of holding it it fits in my purse without issue. It seems pretty well made, it has the same quality of all Ty Beanie Babies. My son loves that the legs and tail are a bit floppy and he's soft enough that when my son is throwing it around I'm not too concerned with it causing any damage. I had already bought Swiper Dora's fox for my son, and I thought Boots would make a nice addition. This TY product has held up very well, with no signs of wear and tear.
When my son is watching the Dora episode on Nick Jr. Favorites Boxed Set (Vol. 1-3), in Volume 1, he uses both TY characters to act out the commotion over Boots's missing fire truck.
While he doesn't play with Boots every day, he still hasn't lost interest in it.
