I don't know why I was just asked questions before writing this review about rating this product as a toy because it is in fact a keychain. Keys can be very serious. Kids playing with keys can accidentally lock themselves in rooms or start a car and get in accidents, but that is not what this review is supposed to be about.
Please examine the picture represented for this item. The metal is shiny and elegant-looking. The rings on the keychain that the charms are attached to look strong. The red bead and apple are quite bright. One might even call them sparkly. The clip looks like it may hold well.
I did not receive this product. It is a very cheap impression of what is displayed. There is nothing in the way of shiny, elegant, or new-looking in the appearance of the metal nor anything else about the product. It is in fact incredibly cheap and pewter. Nothing has a shine, glow, or sparkle, but looks rough like something one would find abandoned in somewhere in dirt. The main ring of the keychain is the cheapest of keyrings I have ever seen. It is that kind that is not intended to actually use as a keychain. The clip will break in an instant. The apple appears lifeless as the dull and penny cent bead 'charms.' Even the lion and lamb themselves are in poor quality. The charm that reads "Twilight" itself is likewise dull, lifeless, rough in appearance, and incredibly larger than featured. I bought this product new.
[...]. This thing is disgusting. I can't even use it. I am a jeweler and will take it apart. I am going to create new chains for the charms, replace all the beads, and keep only the lion, lamb, and the word "Twilight". I may replace the animals if I find better ones, which I am sure I will. I am going to replace the keyring and clip as well. I know that I can create a better charm that reads "Twilight." This leads me to say that this product is not worth a single thing.
On another note, please do not give this keychain as a 'giftable toy.' The pieces are easily swallowable and may seriously choke a child. I often see babies playing with keychains and grow irritated by it, but this isn't just irritation with this product. It is a matter of keeping your child safe.
