Customer Review: Great for random stars, but don't be picky about correct constellations

Overall, I'm happy I got this product, but only because I cdn't care less whether the constellations are correct. The star map that is provided is next to useless. Only a few of the constellations were visible on the ceiling, and I had to play games with it to even get those. I ended up just putting up random stars everywhere. There is more than enough paint to do an average-sized bedroom.
A black light is essential when working in order to see what you've done. As stated in other reviews, the paint doesn't hold a charge well, so if you just work in the dark, you won't be able to see the stars you've painted. Set the bottle of paint next to the black light while you're working, and it will help make it more visible when you use it.
Also, the stars don't hold a charge all that long (maybe 20 minutes of good visibility after the lights are out). If you want to see them for longer or if you like to be able to see them when you wake up in the middle of the night, you'll need a black light for the room.
Oh, and be prepared for the fact that they glow slightly green. I think that's unavoidable with glow-in-the-dark paint.
