Customer Review: Perfect for my childs project - but things to consider

There isn't a mobile you will purchase that won't be fragile. I did read the other reviews and found them helpful. My child used this mobile to do a project for a single planet. Here are the things you need to note.
1. Using all of the wires is not practial. (instead of using a wire per hole as per the instructions, we pushed a single wire all the way accross to the other side. this made the mobile much more stable and less suseptable to the wires falling off)
2. The wires do bend easily so when inserting them and pushing them into the holes make sure your fingers are close to the edge that is being inserted. (our wires did bend a little, but it did not take a way from the overall presentation of the finished project).
3. We did not see a way to put the mobile together without initially hanging it and then tying the strings on. This worked ok, but just be aware that you may need another person to help keep the mobile from moving while you do this. Don't worry that when you finish one side, the mobile is lopsided. Once both sides are on it will balance out and look fine.
4. Make sure to tie the strings tightly (double and triple knots and pull them to secure).
I could not think of a way to keep the wind from tangling the mobile when taking it outside to bring to my child's school. I saw this was an issue for every mobile brought to school that day. Be prepared to spend at least 20 or more minutes untangling the thing if this happens to you. Mobiles should be assmbled where they going to be displayed. Only a lame teacher would make your child bring one in to school.
