Toys and Games Reviews of Jar Of Glow-In-The-Dark StarsCustomer Review: Nice for a nursery Summary: 4 Stars
I bought these to decorate the nursery in a space theme in that room. I picked these out because I read a review that the glow they produce fades away in about 15 min, which is prefect for our needs (We didn't want the ceiling to be too distracting when our little one is trying to sleep). The only complaint I have is that the adhesive tape that comes with them is far too weak. If you are going to buy these, do yourself a favor and grab some double sided foam tape as well.
Customer Review: Not a full gift on its own Summary: 4 Stars
At my sister's request, I got this for my 4 year old nephew. He didn't seem to "get it" when he opened the gift, but she tells me that he loves having them all over his room. His slightly older brother got glow in the dark planets, and they've built a solar system in their room (which they use to play star wars). I think it is fun to have them up, but (in terms of opening a gift) I would get a little something else to go with it.
Customer Review: Stars at Night Summary: 4 Stars
I have used a couple of different start products, and these are decent. The adhesive provided seems ample for the smaller stars, but I did use additional putty on the larger stars. They provide a nice glow, though they seem to glow a bit dimmer than the ones I just bought at a local retailer. A good purchase overall, and my son is happy with the stars in his room.
Customer Review: No complaints here! Summary: 5 Stars
I couldn't believe how far this bucket of stars went! If we would've used all the stars there wouldn't have been enough adhesive but we stopped with about 20 stars left. This was done in our boys room and they LOVE IT! Much easier job with two people. I put the adhesives on the stars and handed them to my hubby who put them on the ceiling and walls!
Customer Review: Lots of stars but bad adhesive Summary: 3 Stars
You get a lot of stars. If you tried to put them on the ceiling of a typical child's room, then you could probably cover the whole ceiling. The downside is that the adhesive that they give you works poorly and the stars don't glow very brightly. We used up all of the adhesive to get just a few stars to stick.
