I'd like to start by saying that I'm not a toy enthusiast like the thing above says but this version of momopoly is alot of fun especialy for any LotR fan like me (I'm a VERY big LotR fan). You can be either Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Frodo, Gandalf or Galadreil and the places you can buy are atual locations from the movie such as Rivendel, Edoras and Barad Dur. The railroads are horses such as Shadowfax and Brego and houses are strongholds and hotels are fortresses. on one of the dice it has the eye of sauron for a one. This game is very fun and a very good investment for a LotR fan.Customer Review: Move over Miz Scarlet....new game in town!

I loved CLUE and Monopoly when I was crowning. Being a Lord of the Rings Fan, I just HAD to have this. WOW what a great merging of two things I love. Same old game - but now you can do it Middles Earth style!You can chose to be Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Frodo, Gandalf or Galadreil. Instead of Boardwalk and Park Place you have Edoras, Rivendel and Barad Dur. The Railroad are horses, the hotels are now fortresses, even the 1 on the dice is the eye of Sarum.
Brilliant Idea to update the old favourite game. A must for your Rings fans who grew up on the board game!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He and I are both Lord of the Ring fans, and neither of us has been disappointed in this game! If you like Monopoly, you'll enjoy the twist of the game becoming Middle Earth with many of the characters from the movie as tokens, and all of the properties being named after places in LOTR. My favorite feature was the "ring". If you are like me, you won't be able to resist holding in your palm, stroking it and whispering "My precious" to get a few laughs from the other players!Customer Review: Nice but not perfect

This is a very nice theme monopoly board. Unfortunately the pewter tokens lack lead (for safeties sake) bend easily. Aragorn's sword looks like it is made of cheese. Gimli's axes are a bit limp. And Sting is a bit warped. The others were in good shape though. Had the tokens been made of stainless steel that would have been good enough because they would not have bent. Over all it is good but could have been better.Customer Review: Another great version of Monopoly

For a person like me who is a Lord of the Rings fan and a Monopoly fan, this is a great game. The rules are the same, so it isn't difficult to play. It also has the great variation with the ring, which serves two purposes to me. 1. It creates a fun twist and 2. It is a gauge of how long the game will go. Monopoly is notorious for lasting for an eternity. A must for all Lord of the Rings and Monopoly lovers.
