I got this toy about 2 years ago. I was ten then. And even then I was bored with it. It CAN do a number of things such as drink it's bottle, giggle, ask for a hug, but then these things can only be so exiting. I think that anyone under 7 would probably enjoy this iteam, but anyone over that will get bored of it fairly quickly. Someone I know has this bear. I just had to order it! When it arrived I thought it was defective because I didn't know it had an on/off switch. I requested a refund, which was granted. When I realized there was a switch, I notified the seller to cancel my refund and they told me "Thank you for being so honest. Keep the bear." I was so impressed! As for the bear, it is lovable and cuddly and in perfect shape!Customer Review: It's the best.

This toy offers interaction with childern and animals. It creates a life long mermory of a toy that really reminded you of a child/bear of your own. IT let a child experience responsiblity with taking care of a orphan bear. I know this bear was loved greatly and taught whomever played with it a vauleable lesson. I bought this toy for my three year old daughter for Christmas, since she loves toys like this. He definately works but she is absolutely terrified of him, I had never seen her react this way to anything before. The bear had to spend the night in the basement so he would be no where her sight, so needless to say he will be making a trip back to the store. The only draw back of this toy as others have said is the arms are stiff and make it hard to hug..
Other than that, this toy is simply adorable , the motorized sound of movements are hardly noticable.. and the sounds it makes are truly neat. My daughter got this over a year ago, (she is 7 now) and she still loves this bear and we have not had any problems with any broken limbs.
