My 10-year old daughter got this bear for Christmas. It is so cute and fun to play with. I even enjoy playing peek-a-boo with it although it is giving my 18-month old son fits. Not because he is afraid of it but because he is jealous of it! He stole the bear's bottle and was trying to drink from it. My 8-year old son wants the panda bear for his birthday next month. They are a fun toy and fun to play with. Plus, they get lots of attention when they are taken out in public which my kids like also. We do have to keep the bear put up from the baby as we feel he would probably break it if he threw it around. I am not sure how sturdy the bear is. The batteries are a little hard to put in (in the bear's bottom) and the button to turn it on is above the battery box. It is pure entertainment for the kids.Customer Review: I have the panda

her bed is made out of a boot tray the matress is a
VERY soft BIG sponge and her blankie is
two soft wash cloths and her pillow was sown by grandma.
I wake her up every day and feed her with her food and bottle.
I also have a furreal friends newborn puppy.
Whoms name is Buddy.
Lyn has been dropped LOTS of times and she has still has not broken.She has been from the backyard to Newbruinswick and she goes everywhere(exept school)with me.I am so glad that I have her. sometimes she gets jealous of Buddy but it dosen't last very long. she hates the warm and loves the cold.(just like me)

Customer Review: Very Soft and Cute

Purchased this for our almost seven year old neice. She has one doggy Fur Real and loves it. Polar bear makes less motor noises, which is good. Switch is a little hard to reach, but that also means it is very well-hidden. Child-size fingers can get to it better than adult-size fingers.
Had some trouble getting it to do the hug function. It think it's supposed to stretch out its arms (which it did) and then close them into a hug (which it didn't). Our neice is better at this stuff than me, so maybe she got it to work. Everything else -tickling laugh, eating, burp, hunger grunts and snoring worked fine. Very cute.
Just remember to turn these guys off when you're done. Otherwise they go into sleep mode, but the batteries are still being gradually drained.

At first I was not very impressed especially with the Panda bear(black+white) I felt it from the box opening and it felt very fragile and not cuddly at all!..but my son insisted the the Polar bear was the one he really really wanted, so I got it when he was at school and test it of course:.. I was surprised of how cute the white one is and pretty sturdy I have to say, the mecanisms are mostly on the inside and they only reach half of the bear harms so they can be bented or squeezed without damaging but then again the real test will be when my all boy son gets it! I even custom made a backpack ^with boys colors^ to carry it..yes...everything but the best for my baby.
